the story of Aloha Bling opals
Aloha Bling pieces are designed in small productions on Maui, Hawaii. Every charm is designed and curated to represent our love for the ocean, beach and our love of adventure. We are obsessed with any color that looks like the glimmer of the ocean. We have found a simplified approach to wearing jewelry. Our vision is to offer you easy to wear, meaningful , eco-friendly, ethically sourced jewelry that won't break the bank and still last lifetimes. We choose lab grown opals as they are the most sustainable option to bring you the finest most precisely cut, durable gems possible. Our crystal lab uses the finest minerals and state of art efficiency to speed the crystal growth process and achieve the brightest naturally colored opals, all of our lab grown opals take years in development and come from Japan.
Aloha Bling custom cut opals under the microscopic lens exhibit the same chemical and physical composition exactly identical to real opals created by nature over millions of years under volcanic or sedimentary deposits; therefore the metaphysical properties of our jewelry are identical to genuine opals. Opal is a relatively soft mineral that comprises silicon and water and is valued for its brilliant flashing rainbow of colors. There are many different varieties of Opals and we do source natural, ethical harvested heirloom Opals that we display in our custom creation catalog. We work with all colors of the Opal stone ranging from white or light gray to brown or red to black. While opal may be found in either sedimentary deposits or in volcanic deposits; the volcanic stones tend to be brittle and more fragile than the sedimentary stones but the sedimentary stones lack the brightness of colors; our search for the most brilliant and durable stones brought us to the state of art cultivation of crystals , a science called crystal farming, a process called impregnating silica which reproduces the opal crystal fractals under perfectly maintained light and atmospheric pressure. This process makes it possible to have a durable , bright , colorful stone that will last lifetimes.
PLEASE ALLOW EACH PIECE TO BE UNIQUE AND A LITTLE DIFFERENT. CARE FOR THEM AS YOU WOULD ANY PRECIOUS GEMSTONE JEWELRY, CLEANING REGULARLY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
